What would it be like to benefit from the wisdom of many of the best facilitators, consultants, and mentors? What if there were a tool to amplify your thinking and creativity anytime you choose? MindSights™ is such a tool. It is the genesis of a new era of thinking productivity products!

Like a skilled consultant or trusted friend, MindSights™ provides timely advice by asking just the right questions, recommending the right tools to use and putting at your finger-tips successful methods and insight for your consideration. We call this "Facilitated Thinking".

Facilitated Thinking
The purpose of Facilitated Thinking is to enhance personal and knowledge-worker productivity of thought. As an analogy, the assembly line created a quantum leap in manual-worker productivity by coordinating the delivery of materials, tools, parts, and skilled workers.

In a similar way, MindSights™ uses a facilitation process that guides knowledge-workers with the delivery of the right thinking strategy (framework), the right questions to ask, and the right tools to use at just the right time. The result is an improvement in thinking effectiveness that enables finding the best resolution for every unique situation or task at hand.

Why Use It?
Some say we only use a fraction of our mind power. This percentage can and should be pushed to a whole new level. Here are a few areas of thought that MindSights™ can empower and accelerate your thinking potential.

  • Out-of-the-box Thinking: The mind naturally follows the easiest thinking path, which is not always the right one for the task at hand. MindSights™ employs a different strategy to fit the thinking task.
  • Questioning: Asking the right question provides the best chance to produce the right answer. Unfortunately, this can be very difficult. MindSights™ question sets makes finding the right question to ask much easier
  • Creativity: Many people do not attempt to be creative because they erroneously believe that creativity is an innate ability. MindSights™ techniques can spark anyone's creativity.
  • Focused Thinking: People have the tendency to scatter thinking around as it occurs. MindSights™ strategies helps focus thinking energies down the most productive pathways to speed resolutions.
  • Decision Making: Instinctively the mind uses only a subset of available information in making decisions. MindSights™ structured judgment tools enhance decision reliability.
  • Mental Library: Rarely can people bring to mind all the tools or information relevant to a task when they need to do so. MindSights™ tools, techniques, trigger questions, templates and tutors are available for easy access and reference whenever they are needed.

How Does MindSights™ Work?
Thinking Strategies: MindSights™ strategies emulate the human by providing a thinking framework or a series of steps that both guides constructive thinking and stimulates innovative thoughts and ideas. These thinking frameworks are designed to meet problem-solving efforts that typically have one or a combination of these aims:

  • Restore to a previous condition.
  • Improve upon current levels of performance
  • Create a condition never before realized.
  • Anticipate and prepare for something.

Within each framework step the following four types of thinking prompters are used.
Trigger Question Sets: These sets are designed to generate good questions which is often more difficult than generating answers. Since each question has buried within it the seeds of the kinds of answers it will permit, it is essential to find the right question to ask which then gives the mind its best chance to find the right answer.

Thinking Templates: Templates are simply forms, worksheets, or models. They are designed to filter and quickly arrive at relevant information, and, enable you to look at the same information that everyone else sees in different ways and patterns resulting in enhanced understanding.

Thinking Techniques: These tools activate fresh thinking patterns that lead to new associations, relationships, ideas that ultimately yield better ideas or problem solutions. They work by stimulating the mind to enlightened responses leading to non-scripted thinking rather than simply using pre-existing thought patterns.

Thinking Tutors: These tools provide additional information, definitions and clarity of understanding that are central to effective thinking and successfully executed actions.
